Kigezi Healthcare Foundation


KIHEFO
is a local not-for-profit non-governmental organisation (NGO) dedicated to community development in Kabale District, located in Kigezi Region, southwest Uganda. It was founded by the inspirational Dr Geoffrey Anguyo and operates many services to address a variety of community needs including medical care, education, economic development and counselling. Dr Geoffrey and his team are amazing and dedicated to supporting their community.  

KIHEFO is supported internationally by BuyAYear in the USA and Bridge to Health in Canada and provides opportunities for medical and non-medical volunteer placements. KIHEFO can provide volunteers with a unique opportunity to experience Uganda through its partner Kigezi Tours.

KIHEFO provides an opportunity for supporters to choose how their time and donations are spent.

North Uganda Outreach Project


The North Uganda Outreach Project
is a small but fantastically run charity striving to bring help in any way it can to northern Uganda. It was established by Hugh Carville and Becky Dickens who with their Ugandan friend George aims to make a difference to as many people as it can in a number of different ways. Hugh and Becky’s achievements to date include delivering medical outreach clinics, clothes distributions to rural communities and the distribution of water filters and reusable sanitary protection to remote communities in northern Uganda.
